An RSVP deadline that does the chasing for you
Set the date you need answers by. RSVP Events shows it to guests, reminds the people who have not decided and tells you who is still missing.
RSVP Events lets you set a reply-by date on your online invitation. Guests see it on the invitation and in the message you share. You can turn on an email nudge three days before the date for guests who said maybe and invited guests who have not replied, and choose whether replies close once the date passes.
How do you set a reply-by date and reminders?
- Find your real deadline. Ask the caterer and venue when they need final numbers, then pick a reply-by date at least two weeks earlier.
- Add it to your event. In your dashboard, open Make it better or Edit and set the reply-by date.
- Choose the reminder. Turn on the nudge to email maybes and invited guests who have not replied, three days before the date.
- Decide about late replies. Leave replies open and marked late, or close them once the date has passed.
- Chase the last few. Use the Not replied filter, then email a nudge or copy the names into WhatsApp.
Where do guests see the reply-by date?
- On the invitation, under the event date: "Please reply by Friday 30 April"
- In the WhatsApp, text or email message you share
- In reminder emails
- In your dashboard header, with how many days are left
Who gets the automatic reminder?
Only the people who still owe you an answer and have an email address on your list: guests who said maybe and people on your invited list who have not replied. It goes out once, three days before your reply-by date. Guests who have said yes or no are not chased. The nudge is off until you turn it on.
What happens after the reply-by date?
Guests can always remove their own reply, even after replies close.

How do you chase the people who still have not replied?
Paste your invited list into the dashboard and the Not replied filter shows who is missing. Email them a friendly nudge, or press Copy names to paste the list into WhatsApp and send a personal message.
When should the reply-by date be?
Work back from your caterer's final numbers deadline and leave at least two weeks for late replies and the seating plan. For weddings that usually means four to six weeks before the day.
Frequently asked questions
Is the RSVP deadline reminder free?
Yes. Reply-by dates, the automatic nudge and reminders you send yourself are all included free for events of up to 300 guests.
Can I change the reply-by date later?
Yes. Change it in your dashboard at any time before the event. A new date means the three-day nudge can go out again for the new date.
Do guests without an email address get the reminder?
No, the reminder is an email. Use the Not replied filter and Copy names to message those guests yourself.
